Opinion:


Spanish producer Pablo Bolivar takes Desolat on a radical new path, that of deep-house, the label being known for its (sometimes minimalistic) tech-house and techno. But, as we get good music in the end, it does not matter.
Frequency is the out of place track from the 6 we get, being quite a slow (110 BPM) electronica combined with deep-house. Luckily, Take Off picks up the rhythm, making the dancers move, but still remaining in the deep zone. The journey continues with the more 'electric' You Too, and Addicted, making us dream of being in Chicago somewhere. Three Ways To Move and Playground end the long EP in the same style, of slow, almost dreamy, deep-house, aimed for warm-ups or after-hours. Undoubtedly, this is a very beautiful release, filled with melodic grooves, but somewhat not in the Desolat style. But that must not stop you to give it a chance, listen and buy:
