Opinion:

Series 1.x is the name of (guess what??) a series of 3 EP`s released by Nick Curly on Cecille Records. The last installment features my favorite track from this artist, namely Bulgaria. The second track, Ak()n is very good also, maintaining the flawless style of Curly`s tech-house...

I last saw Nick a couple of months ago in Studio Martin, and he demonstrated again what a great dj he is. A strong set, positive vibes, booming bass and quality tech-house, that`s what Curly the dj is all about. Luckily for us, Curly the producer incorporates the same things in his songs and releasing very good tracks. What`s interesting is that Resident Advisor gave this 0.5 out of 5, at the end of a very negative review. Other sites and also me and all the people I recommended to hear this said it`s top class. Probably the RA editor`s grandma stoled his laptop and decided to make a review. So maybe you need to hear it yourself. Just remember, it`s meant for good and loud speakers.

Visualy we get a black sleeve-like cover, with some minimalistic lines drawn. No tracklist is needed, as the middle is cut and the vinyl label can be seen. A very sober and professional look.
