Opinion:
I can barely wait for the 50th release by German label 8Bit, and that`s because it`s on my top list when searching for good tech and deep house. But until the party there are 3 more EPs to go, one of which is signed by newcomer Bunte Bummler.
Your`re Mine is the lead track of the release and it`s a slow and dreamy combinations of deep and tech-house, filled with vocals and beautiful guitar sounds. The remix signed by Sasch BBC and Caspar retains the strong points of the original but makes it more danceable and complete. Lights is a very original track, far from what you can hear in a straight deep/tech track (due to some very electronic keys), but indeed very nice. Turn Me On is the most alert track around, with a scent of old-school house and a sexy sax that is joined by piano sounds at the middle to create a very energetic and positive song.
To sum up, an original EP with the strong points being the remix and the last song (a true jewel). I will definitely keep an eye on Bunte Bummler. Buy it here:
