Opinion:
Thomas Koch, that releases his work under the name of DJ T., is definitely one of the pillars of Get Physical Music. And it is only normal to celebrate 150 releases with a remix pack of his City Life track, out with his new album, The Pleasure Principle. This EP contains 3 remixes, one signed by Mr.T himself, and the other 2 by Maceo Plex and Maya Jane Coles.
The tracks feature the beautiful and haunting vocals of Cari Golden, and exhibit a certain special blend of house and tech-house. Old school is the true school when talking about DJ T., and his tracks always remember us of the beginnings of house music, crafted by the musical culture of this legendary artist. T.`s and Jane Coles` remixes are dub versions of the original track, while Maceo Plex is offering a warmer Chicago house influence.
